And we are The Sophisticated Boom Boom. As a ‘dames DJing duo’, who really fucking love music, we set up shop in Glasgow by taking on sound. Bringing vinyl to the dance floors and spinning the soundtrack to pints with friends; we are here to share.
Our nights include, ‘Boom Boom! A raging dance party’ (the first Thursday of the month at Nice n Sleazys) and the last Friday of every month at Mono. Deena also curates the menu and shares sounds for The Soul Supper Club every Tuesday at The Art School (with Duncan Harvey of Button Up).
We have also DJ’d at venues such as The 78, The Berkeley Suite, The Old Hairdressers. Tiki Bar, Big Slope, SWG3, The Common Rooms, Black Friars, and at art openings and the odd house party.
