Musical Bio: I was born in Lorain, Ohio on April 21st, 1982. I remember the first time I recorded myself playing the drums I had a cassette of "...and Justice For All" by Metallica and I recorded myself playing along to "Harvester of Sorrow" and all the other great songs on that album...I was about 7 years old and playing a Fisher Price drum kit while recording on a Fisher Price cassette player. Later, I played in the woodwind section in my school band until 9th grade, then walked away from music for a few years.
As silly as it sounds, playing Rock Band re-ignited my desire to get back into making music. I purchased a Yamaha DTX electronic drum kit since they sound awesome acoustic drums and community living often don't mix, then I took lessons from Nate Stottlemyer in Maryland.
My first song and introduction to recording, arranging and mixing came in a collaborative effort with my brother Ryan McNair. Over the holidays in 2013, I decided I wanted to step up and start writing
