Nerdtown, Belgium
The mixing started with Tineke's first recording. Guest was Ben Liebrand. From that moment on, I was trapped by the Mix Virus. I had to be able to do the same as Ben. Finally after practicing, giving up, practicing again I got the hang of it. The good old days with Vinyl Mixing on The Wheels of Steel. A lot of cutting and pasting with the tape. The good old days. Yes, I'm old, but nowadays I also use digital tools. But I keep mixing instinctively. Nothing should be automatic. Are my mixes always as tight? Certainly not. But that's how I want it and I'll continue to do it. In addition, I still use The Wheels of Steel in some cases (
Technics SL-1200 MK7 DJ Turntable). The blood flows where it needs to flow. So forgive me if you don't like a transition.
Do you have a request? I like to be challenged :)
