Samuel Lockley aka ‘Arkhive’ is a self-taught Midlands based DJ and vinyl lover. Samuel has been obsessed with music ever since his early teens collecting records from second-hand vinyl stores and car boot sales. He is a self-obsessed versatile collector of all genres combined.
From starting out as a club promoter at 18/19 then moved towards focusing on DJing and payed consistently for hour after hour in his bedroom. Here, he learned the ins and outs of what it takes to be a DJ constantly digging through old records and tracks to develop a unique sound. Finally, being introduced to the House & Techno sounds through the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Larry Heard , Terry Francis , many others.
Samuel moved out of his bedroom to start his career as a DJ playing at after-hours parties across the Midlands with friends. Sam uses his open-mindedness to adapt to any given situation. He’s a true believer in only two genres of music: good or bad
