The Jawbone Collective is an affiliation of writers and poets operating out of the Southwest who support each other online and through meet ups. The objective is to promote the literary arts throughout the Wessex region. For the history buffs that is roughly Devon, Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, The Isle of Wight, Bristol and Avon… and although historically inaccurate we include in our version of Wessex- Cornwall and Gloucestershire… because why not? They are full of lovely people!

So… Jawbone radio is not just about The Collective… through the generous support and sponsorship of the YDN network we will be interviewing and showcasing writers, poets and singer/songwriters from across the SouthWest.

We have lots of plans to bring you words from across the region. We will be meeting hosts of spoken word events, movers and shakers in the arts scene - people who support the spoken word, but most importantly wordsmiths who practice their craft in the SouthWest of the UK.
