The Grrs is a Manila base DJ duo and is a collaboration between Mafia and James Grr. Formed in 2015, when the DJ couple spun b2b for a Valentine’s Day event in Today x Future, an infamous dive bar in the city.

Together, they play a combination of his indie and disco roots along with her love for RNB, house and electro; not too long after, dipping their hands into techno.

As they continued on honing their crafts both individually and together as DJs, the duo also started hosting parties heavily influenced on the music they love: OH NO! -an indie dance and electro party held once a month at Today x Future; and, Bed Squeaks, an RNB/Hiphop night currently held every Thursday nights at Finders Keepers, a speakeasy bar located in the Blackmarket complex. And they are also an occurring presence in clubs and bars such as Today x Future, 2020 Bar, XX XX, and The Bowery.
