The Ever Present Spark is the musical project of music veteran Teddy Orenstein, shaped by more than three decades of writing, recording and studio experience. Moving through electronic music, downtempo, progressive, ambient, trip hop, indie and related influences, the music follows an instinctive approach to songwriting, performance and production.
Vocals, synthesizers, live percussion and contemporary production come together through human ideas and real musicianship. Technology is used as part of the creative process, with artistic integrity, transparency and original expression remaining central to the work.
The project continues to develop through new recordings, unreleased material and collaborations, with releases appearing through Frisson Recordings and selected partner labels.
