Roland van den Bossche (aka The Dutchman) presents every Wednesday night from 7-9 pm The Dutchman Rock Review, exclusive for New Brighton Radio. Not unfamiliar with rock music (played guitar in The Coolsingles, Hairz of the dog, Retrospect and currently in Perch), Roland presents every Wednesday a mix of classic rock and rock from new upcoming bands, and his definition of rock is a wide stretch. His show, dubbed by listeners as the most interactive rock show in the UK, contains fixed contributions from Craig MacDonald (Craig’s Quarter) and Iain Dunton (Born to Rock). Every week there’s attention to a specific band in the Spotlight item, either sent in by a listener or selected by Roland himself. Requests are always welcome and emails, texts and chats are read live on air.
