The Drop In Sessions began their journey back in 2014. Two like minded souls with a passion for slightly to the left sounds. Danny Dakin and Gaz Lenton started putting on a few nights in venues around their hometown of Stourbridge with the aim of bringing something a bit different to the ears of the local scene. After roping in their long term pal and musical compadre Ian H Hughes they started the Underground Sessions in the cellar of local boozer Katie Fitzgerald’s hosting some great little intimate gatherings. The One place they can always be found throughout the summer is the marvellous Fox & Sounds. Held every Sunday (weather permitting) at the idyllic setting of The Fox Inn Stourton. Nestled in the glorious Staffordshire countryside this is one ofmost beautiful spots to kick back and listen to music on a sunny day and the lads regularly invite some of the finest local selectors to join them in the garden. Still going strong after 6 great years.
