The Anoraks Podcast started in June 2011 when four guys with similar interests decided to sit down and talk about movies, television, video games, comic books, gadgets, and anything else that took the groups fancy. Over the next 9 months the show began to gain more and more listeners and led to the team going to the SFX Weekender in North Wales to cover the event and interview many of the guests there including acclaimed comic writer/artist team Tony Lee and Dan Boultwood.

In March 2012 the show made the move to live radio. Airing Thursday nights between 9pm and 11pm on www.VectisRadio.com the show encourages listeners to call in and join the discussion at any time.

Each show brings a unique mix of entertainment news and discussion, guest interviews, ridiculous games/quizes/forfeits, the weekly question ‘What are you geeking out on?’, and a healthy dose of listener interaction.
