Disillusioned with corporate life, Andreas Troeger left his job as a Mainframe Computer Specialist in 1988 to dive into underground performance art. After studying Film and TV in Munich, he moved to NYU in 1992, where he met Nam June Paik and became a trusted collaborator. In the mid-'90s, Andreas joined the Name-Space project, fighting for digital free speech and movement.

From 2019–2024, he documented Punk Rock shows in Tompkins Square Park, capturing the raw energy of NYC’s last true punk scene. Amid the chaos of New York, he created the avant-garde film Kill The Artist, the Anti Biography book series, and a broad range of video and digital art projects.
