Ron's spiritual name "TARUMBAE" means to live in rhythm with the universe and in harmony with the earth. He released his first 12” single in San Francisco, CA under the name, Tarumbae and the Rydim Rockers in 1986 through the Utopia West Creations label . Ron shook up the reggae world with his brand of funky reggae. He was also a radio DJ on San Francisco's KPOO 89.5 before moving to Finland in 1992. He continued his musical journey. He performed with the international reggae band Saganor for 4 years along side Mike Thomas, formerly of Mighty Pyramids of Jamaica. During his stint in Finland, he also released “ Book Three Synthesis” with No Explanation Band featuring Ron Hardy which received national rotation air play in Finland.
