Co-founded by a committed trio of friends, Harry Illsley, Harry Card and Louis Lampard, Tartan Paint Records began in the early months of 2015. Launched with a sell-out event at Thirty3Hz in Guildford with the help of the infamous iLL Phil, Tartan Paint set out as a small independent record label with big ambitions.
Our aim is simple - to add a splash of undiscovered vibrancy to the current spectrum of different house genres.
Channelling different types of house music, Tartan Paint uses three separate ways to reach a wider audience, Tech-Tartan, Deep-Tartan & Dark-Tartan. Through these sub-genres we've opened up a broader spectrum of electronic music to the industry and for our loyal followers to enjoy.
