Talking to Shadows is a rock and roll band from Baltimore, MD. Their sound is a mixture between contemporary dream pop and the familiar shoegaze and alternative genres of the 1990s. “It’s like [if] Mazzy Star and Hum had a baby” or “a combination of Juliana Hatfield and My Bloody Valentine.” The four piece formed in 2018 when singer and songwriter, Cat Van Glide (Pai Mae) and bassist, Ron Weldon (Grey March) began writing songs together. Soon after, the two were joined by Gregoire Palmer (Sorry Marshal, Velvet Ash Rumor) on guitar and Alex Hughes on drums rounding out the current lineup.
