Takin..Off! have been DJing for over 10 years. We grew up surrounded by Mod, Soul, Britpop, Hip Hop and just abouty anything we could shake a tail feather to and took our love of this to the decks. The Takin..Off! moniker came around a few years back when we were having parties at the Cherry Tree and have moved via the Foundry to our current home of The Farmhouse, Canterbury.
Playing an eclectic mix of Soul, Funk, and variations of..including Motown, Stax and Atlantic soul, Heavy Vocal and instrumental Funk, 60s Girl bands, Hammond, Psyche and soundtracks.
