Tyni is DJ specialising in underground Hip Hop for over 20 years, mainly UK and US but if it’s good, it’s good so has been known to play a variety of styles from all over the world. Also plays a mean old school reggae set, with a vast knowledge of Studio One, Trojan and lots of other OG Jamaican labels. Recently been dipping into soul, from new stuff from labels such as Penrose Records and Big Crown as well as old classics and rare cuts. Can play any of these genres and also has an amazing selection of clean edits for family friendly events (due to demands of several radio shows he has had the pleasure of fronting) and also dope instrumentals for an open mic cypher ready to go!

Tyni has had a long and varied past, DJing when vinyl was still king and cds were just starting to be used. Now due to the ridiculously wide selection needed to ensure the crowd’s mood is matched and set, Tyni has recently joined the future and play primarily using Serato.
