TOMV plays electro-techno-progressive-house music with a funky-broken-beat!
Like many DJs here on LDR I had a keen interest in dance music from an early age. I started recording essential mixes on cassette tapes and buying house and hip hop albums. In my 20s was when the party really started, hitting the UK underground club scene, keen to hear new sounds and see pioneering DJs. I bought my first set of decks in 2000 but DJing kicked off when I met fellow LDR resident Big Big Love. Together we put on parties for our mates at my flat in Leeds but after a noise nuisance warning, decided to move the parties out to various bars in Leeds under the promotional name of ‘Script.’
Now a father of two young girls and settled in a quiet town in North Yorkshire, the clubs and festivals are on the back burner, but thanks to the local community network I met live streaming platform promoter Rebs, who has inspired me once again to DJ to to live audiences but from the comfort of my own home!
