Originally from sea-tac now out of Denver, Tusk brings a combination of dark tech step and nero funk to the dance floor pushing the boundaries of DNB/Jungle and the structural integrity of venues alike. With occasional mixes of modern, more minimal DNB he possesses 25 + years in the scene, the majority of which has been jungle specific. He produces under Tusk with a longtime friend and co-creator Syncopated Mind. They collab to for Automata, an analog, intelligent DNB duo writing/recording out of northern boulder. Tusk believes strongly in producing and mixing your way up. While social media is the path to gigs and networking these days, Tusk moves through music and hand shakes in a retro and a bit more white labels on acetate sort of way.
