Alex Isotalo aka Tripdubz is a suburban jungle ninja raised on apagee games, pringles drum kits and the darkening of drum n bass. His early attachments to the technical wizardy of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani were evolved by the mezmorizing works of Roni Size, Photek and Bad Company. His drum kit was replaced with sequencing software, samplers and synths. He spent 8 years cutting frenetic and experimental waves under the handle Jello Violence, emerging himself into circuit bending, DJing, and Ann Arbors first 48 hour remix competition – Battle of the Bits. After supporting Hydro under the mighty Ronin Selecta, and subsequently Bassline Mondays under the heavyweight Joey P, he gained a weekly residency at Necto Nightclub from November 2010 to September 2012. Being part of one the longest running drum n bass weekly in Michigan allowed him to drench the dancefloor with his latest production work and hard dnb.
