Whether it has been mixing on tape decks in 1995 or jamming with a jazz ensemble on a cruise ship in the Caribbean Sea, music has been a governing force in Terra Hz’s (Peter Noel) story. His interest was sparked at the tender age of nine when attending a family function, Terra Hz spent the night by the DJ booth hypnotized by the wizardry woven in front of him like fine silk, a spell that would keep him entranced for years to come by the effervescent Hip-Hop scene of the nineties.

Much of his youth was spent slaving behind a guitar learning songs he heard on the radio and in his cd player. Eventually, he picked up the bass guitar and was immediately at home. Leaving almost no genre untouched, he ventured into the dense forest of musical expression, a forest in which today, he is all too familiar. Even now, as a DJ, Peter’s style is worldly, like a seasoned traveler. It encompasses the yin-yang duality of the electronic genre, ranging from Ambient, Chill-Out, Lounge and Nu-jazz to Dub
