Hi, my name is Darrell Jourdan (THE OUTCAST DJ) I've been promoting myself spining music since the 70's, 80's, 90's, till present. I was the general manager and resident DJ for Club Blue. DJ/Promoter, Andrew Hogan, Darryl Jackson, Herb Smith and Darrell, who later joined their group, “Street Life”. The party became somewhat successful and soon developed a cult following. The “Street Life” parties later moved to a large loft on McCarter Highway. Was dubbed “The Spot”, Darrell, Andrew, and Jihad Muhammad were its main attraction and grew into a popular Saturday night event among NJ’s underground dance music fans. After a turbulent year of internal strive, The Spot closed its doors in 1995.
Over the years Darrell played various clubs, Shadows venue in Newark, guest spot at the Soundn Factory NYC, Club Zansibar for Andrew Hogans and mobile gigs. Darrell is still for hire.
