Growing up as a child, DJ Hook has always been around a music-influenced environment. From hearing his parents playing music on the radio all day/night, to his family singing karaoke on the weekends. At the age of 16, for his birthday and Christmas gift Hook received a small Hercules RMX console. He’s always enjoyed music, so figured why not give mixing a shot. Hook used to make bedroom mixes and just send them to his friends for feedback, until one day somebody called his phone asking for him to play music at their party. From that day on is when Hook officially started to fall into that DJ category. From playing at house parties, to hall parties, eventually into the clubs, Hook has done it all.
Six Months after his first house party, Hook was influenced by a one of his peers, to start producing his own remixes. Hook started making Jersey Club and that’s where he built his name. At the age of 17 Hook got his first OFFICIAL club booking, at Club Pure formally known as Abyss. People st
