Having come onto the dubstep scene in 2008 as a member of the Infamous Houston Bass Movement party, GRITSY, TDBZ has exploded onto the national scene in 2010. He has been nominated (the polls arent in yet) for DJ of the Year by the Houston Press and is also a resident at the dubstep / bass music weekly Boomba, and Houstons hottest D&B party - HeavyDNB. TDBZ has also hit San Francisco in 2009 and April of this year, played at the SXSW dubstep wrap up party w/12 Planet, Noah D, MRK-1, Excision, Plastician, and Mad Classy. He's not only bringing big beats; he has a big heart. Earlier this year he donated a wicked tune, Moonwalk, to Dubsteppers for Haiti, a compilation that gives alll proceeds go to the Haiti relief fund. TDBZ has an upcoming vinyl release on UK label Lick the Wrap Recordings with crime partner DJ 0045. Look soon for the 'Proppa Tingz EP' to be released in June 2010.
