Since the late 90's, as one of the few of Philadelphia's most skilled and original vinyl scratch DJ's, SwingKidd has been infecting the sound waves of the East Coast with an impressive display of turntablism techniques, first starting out as a B-Boy break dancing with renny harris and the pure movement, wiz kids at dance party usa, and his Philly dance crew- The Foot. When he broke out as a turntablist in 1997, his talent quickly gained notoriety and since then he has been on dozens of DJ crews.
After 18 years of performing as a DJ, and 13 years of producing, "Hometown is the LAST place you gain popularity." he says, as he expresses his interest and wanting to travel anywhere and everywhere in North America and beyond to display his dying craft and share his originally produced tracks.
