almost every summer I record a Summertime Aperitivo mixtape, a selection of jazzy sounds to match your ice-cold drinks and help you restore from hot weather.
Each Summertime Aperitivo set features several versions of George Gershwin's famous aria from "Porgy and Bess".
Sometimes I also play covers or reworks of Kool & The Gang's classic "Summer Madness".
The rest is good music to put you in a holiday mood.
The first episode started in a lazy, smooth and relaxed way but after a while the tempo began to grow more and more; the central part featured a lot of bossa and nu bossa ( https://www.mixcloud.com/Supabrown/supalounge-n-15-summertime-aperitivo/ ).

2022's instalment was located on the Riviera, with easy-going but bittersweet sounds (jazz, bossa, calypso, a bit of house etc.); most of the artists featured are actually from France or Italy ( https://www.mixcloud.com/Supabrown/supalounge-n-86-summertime-aperitivo-on-the-riviera/ ).
The 2023 edition is an eclectic selection of jazzy sounds, partly smooth and dreamy, partly groovy and uptempo ( https://www.mixcloud.com/Supabrown/supalounge-n-95-summertime-aperitivo-2023/ ).
