It doesn't matter if it's jazz or pop, as long as it sounds handmade. This at least is the claim S.L.O. raises. Everything published under SUNFLOWER LAP ORCHESTRA is composed and arranged by J. Reincke, predominantly while commuting on railroads.

S.L.O.'s influences are Beatles, Beatles and even The Beatles. Okay, besides the fab four trail (Sir George Martin, Jeff Lynne, XTC, Jellyfish, Sean Lennon) there are also Steve Reich, Vince Guaraldi, Mark Hollis, Jamie Cullum, (the early) Genesis, The Police, György Ligeti and some more.
