Tao of Djing that can be said, is not a real Tao of Djing.
If you want to be a virtuous Dj, you must be da master of contexts. If you wish to drop a hard track and you want it sound good, then you must drop a soft track before. If you want that a soft track have meaning, then you must drop a hard track before. Always feel what the track is saying, so a virtuous Dj tracklist is based on feeling. If you feel songs that you play, then you are standing behind them. And when you feel then you are the Dj and the dancer, then you know when to play a drop or a hard depart. Find unique and interesting songs with clear meaning. Play a known song so that the crowd becomes not many. Mix similar styles so the set becomes dynamic.
Selector plays with contexts based on feeling of the “right moment.” And because he is the master of the contexts he is in many. When he is in many, then he is in everybody. When he is in everybody then the crowd becomes one. Thats why God is a Dj.
