A weekly podcast and live online radio show designed to bring you the best of the Northwests unsigned talent past and present.

We don't care if its recorded on a TDK C90, DAT, CD or over the telephone. If its an original song and its worth a listen, we'll play it. Pro - recordings, Hi-Fi, Lo-Fi, Demos, Outtakes, Live, Unplugged, you name it we'll play it. This isn't about reviews or critiques, it's just about giving a platform to local talent.

We will also give shout outs to artists & poets (not just musical) across the region.

Studio 109 was founded by Frank McHale in 2012 - and over the next two years the show has reached hundreds and hundreds of people and introduced them to the wonderful wealth of unsigned talent, not only from the North West but from all around the UK and around the world.
