Sitting Comfortably at 118 Bpm it feels as if its lot faster because of the drum patterns, then the snare comes down and it plants you firmly in the groove,I really like how the melodies intertwine with all the other elements.This song makes me feel like dancing and reminiscing at the same time.I used a lot of layers on all elements and many elements per layer.That combined with slight changes in the chord progression and timing on individual notes and at what point in the phases(riff or lick call it what you will ) come together gives it a progressive feel but remains rooted in its overall feel. Because it kinda drops into things fairly quickly i decided to have the main breakdown that should have been the build up in normal traditional structuring and as it bangs back into the groove maintaining constant evolution.it makes sense and balances the entire proceeding out fairly comfortably as the song progresses and winds down making you wonder how long the journey was...
