I am a retired club disc jockey from Boston, MA. I had a 15 residency that ended when I retired from spinning professionally in 2003. I also had a once a week after hours mix show (Boston) that I pre taped at home during the week and it aired at 2am when the clubs let out. I have kept up with the trends and music changes along the way. I love the recognition that is finally being given to the remixers and producers of "my day". It's great! I still live in the Boston area but I do miss the era of the "Night Clubs". When no one had phones to distract from the light shows and you could take the people who came out on a "musical journey" for the night. I think there is too much social media interference in what is left of the club scene. But it's still fun to come across an "old school" dj who mixes his way through a 4-5 hour set . That something that really turns me on. Keep spinning ladies and gents!!!
