It was 1994-95 when Steven was first introduced to turntables and deep underground progressive music by his older brothers. From an early age, he was hugely influenced by the likes of Sasha, Josh Wink, B.T, and especially John Digweed.
“My brothers would bring back mixtapes from clubs. I was fascinated with the music. A few years on, I would play at house parties. Kids my age just didn’t get it, the music I mean. They preferred the commercial dance chart on the radio. I was staying up until midnight to record the Essential Mix on Radio 1 and cutting out flyers in Mixmag”
Steven had a weekly resident set on Waveform Radio, currently playing on Atlantic Progression as well as playing on his popular, ever-growing Mixcloud stream, ‘Under_ground|Journeys'.
Deep and often dark, his sets build from long intros and flow through various vibes and genres of electronic music.
