Sterealkey started messing around with music as a teen. He started playing at smaller events like Available and Toxic productions around Johannesburg & Pretoria.

As soon as he found his groove he started playing at Groovy Troopers parties in Johannesburg. When the Troopers relocated to Cape Town he stayed behind and continued playing progressive sets at Mushroom Mafia, Lunartech and Woodstock events. He relocated to the mother city and was reunited with the Groovy Troopers as resident DJ from 2004-2015.

These days Sterealkey pops up at niche events like Summer Camp, Flipside and Afrikaburn.
