Stephan has a master of arts in musicology and has DJ'd since year 2000.
Very active in the area of classical music, he has been a resident DJ for “Classy Mondays” (Copenhagen) and “ Reload Classics” (Aarhus), while creating classical DJ sets for the National Art Gallery, Glyptoteket, Charlottenborg, the Wundergrund Festival, the Holy Trinity Night Church and "60 Minutes" with the Copenhagen Philharmonic.
Recently he teamed up with renowned DJ Katrine Ring to create their Copenhagen Classical Lounge.
Stephan also works as a musical consultant for theatre performances and has a long history of successfull productions in Scandinavia– including Reumert Prize winners such as “Havfruen (The Mermaid)”, “Faust” and “Drømmespil (Dream Games)".
Musically he strives to make classical music relevant for a modern audience by displaying its rich melodiousness and strong emotions, along with playing upon its parallels to so-called popular music, such as film music, ambient or jazz.
