Steinwiese

Born in Constance/Germany on the shores of the Lake of Constance Steinwiese alias Marc Stein-Wiese took his first steps into dj-ing in 1996 when he started to put his love for rather rough and fresh Hip Hop Music on the turntables.

A few years later around 2000/2001 he was more and more attracted by Minimal Techno music where he started to love the deep rhythms and sounds. From the beginning on he was digging smooth sounds and warm organs and pads between the kicks and rhythms and with the time he reduced rpms and got more and more into different Deep- and Tech-House music styles and grooves that now he always mixes up with a as he says “sexy”, monotone and instrumental kind of techno. The bass is always leader of his sessions as for him the bass line is the most important element for the groove.
