SWTR aka StayWiTheReal, born in Rome and based in London. He approached hip hop in 96, fascinated by both the music scene in the US and the underground movement in Rome, he soon began experimenting with turntables and vinyl, learning how to blend sounds and explore new musical textures. His passion for digging through records led him to purchase his first sampler, marking the beginning of his journey into beats production.
Always looking for the perfect loop, his sound reflects his approach of keeping the process raw.

He’s been an active member of the italian collective “Beatfonics Crew” and co-founder of the labels WATERSOUL RECORDS and ACTUAL FACTS.

In recent years, he has been DJing in London and hosting a monthly radio show on a local station. Currently, he hosts a show called Exoticism at Radio Raheem in Milan, where he explores music from various countries.
