Spirit Talk is hosted by Kevin Moore and Lynn Harrison. We broadcast live on Radio Regent (radioregent.com) every Monday between 4 and 5 pm EST from the Regent Park Focus Studios. Our producer is Heather Davies. We are supported by the Regent Park Community Ministry of The United Church of Canada.
Regent Park, where we live and work, is Canada's oldest social housing project, built starting in 1948. That worked out about as well as you might expect, so in 2006, they tried again. This time, Regent Park integrates community housing with upscale condos, community centres, parks, and facilities for recreation and the arts. Everyone seems to be pretty happy with the results so far.
Our profile pic is our HQ, the food centre at 40 Oaks where hundreds of people eat healthy food every day. The inset is our chapel where we conduct services every Friday at noon hour. Please join us!
