After cutting my teeth as a karaoke host and event DJ for the bar scene, weddings, etc., I'm FINALLY circling back to the music that sets my soul on fire.
I officially got my start as a karaoke host and DJ for Urban Entertainment (La Crosse, WI) in September 2008. I became established as a top host and DJ in the Driftless region, with my weekly shows at Howie's Live earning 'Best of La Crosse' in 2009/2010. I became the resident karaoke host and music manager for Impulse nightclub in Downtown La Crosse in August of 2010, hosting karaoke two nights a week, DJing on the weekends, and for events. My career spanned just under 10 years before 'life' put it on pause. Known for donning myself with sequins (even on a Tuesday), I gained the nickname 'Diva' and, as a nod to a recently-departed dear friend of 17 years, I'm bringing back the name for this reintroduction to my DJ life.
