Southern Lush is a Southern Metal band from Tulsa, OK USA. Southern Lush was formed in the year 2004 by bassist Beau Thompson and cousin drummer Zak Pickering. Southern Lush contains John Cardello on vocals, Daniel Miller on guitars, Beau Thompson on bass & backing vocals and Zak Pickering on drums.
Influenced by some of the Southern Greats such as The Allman Brothers Band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughan. As well as Pantera, Down, Testament and along with the current Southern trend killers Black Stone Cherry, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster and Black Tusk.
Southern Lush has played countless shows all around the U.S. and has been very privileged to share the stage with The Sword, Sasquatch, Crowbar, Dead Meadow, Hour of 13, Kylesa, Hemlock, KingShifter, Hell Goat, Texas Hippie Coalition and Black Tusk.
After a short break, we went back into the studio to record some new Southern Lush material and are now back playing shows with no end.
