Isis Swaby is a DJ, producer, multi-artist. Daughter of Augustus Pablo, a dub and reggae musician. Raised in Harlem, New York City. Swaby uses her Jamaican heritage as inspiration throughout her visual art practice and through music production. Throughout the years, Swaby has collaborated with reggae legends such Lee Scratch Perry on an art project of readymade skulls for his performances and designed a hat with Kangol Headwear Co., in honor of her family owned record shop, Rockers International Shop based in Kingston, Jamaica. Swaby sources and selects Dub, Ska, Rocksteady, Experimental Hip Hop and Trap, Afrobeat, Drum and Bass, World and Soul. As a DJ, Swaby opened/shared spaces with OSHUN, Addis Pablo, Melo-X, Yami Bolo, Yaadcore, Xhosa, Suzi Analogue, Dedekind Cut and Buke & Gase. Collaboratively worked with Kangol Headwear Co., VP Records, Soulection, ReggaeKing, Kinfolk 90, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Cross Club (Prague, Czech Republic), and DUBCLUB JP.
