After a totally unprecedented response to his first ever radio show, we bring you the one and only Mickey Banks (AKA The Sonic Gypsy) straight from the delta every Sunday afternoon 5pm – 7pm!
The Sonic Gypsy is the wayward son of a BSA riding, mountain climbing, boat building nuclear scientist and part time explorer. He was brought up in the mountains of northern England on rat motorcycles, snakebite, The Doors and John Lee Hooker.. Mickey was lead singer with groundbreaking major label rock band Scorpio Rising.
after a “Sonic Gypsy Radio Show” takeover on a Manchester radio station, the response was so amazing.. the show simply HAD to carry on… and here it is!
