SonX is the electronic music project of Colorado-based musician/producer Michael Sonnefeldt. Growing up in Chicago with a jazz-musician father exposed him to a wide variety of musical styles and instruments from an early age. His appreciation for and involvement in different genres of music has consistently expanded and as a result, SonX has accumulated a vast collection of influences that create a stylistic blend uniquely his own. Live performances combine original music/production with original remixes of tracks familiar to the listener to create a fun, inviting, and danceable setting for the audience. With live performances in 2018 at notable Denver venues such as Cervantes’ Other Side and The Black Box, as well as his first single released via MHSM records' annual Mile High Meltdown compilation, “Questions”, the future is bright.
