I first started making music in 2003 (under the name DJ N-Storm). Back then, it was mostly loop-based tunes made with ACID. Humble beginnings, but it gave me a taste of something much more to come in the future.
Playing around with ACID eventually developed into making a lot of mashups between 2005-2007, mostly Hip-hop and R&B, but I also started delving into the world of electronic music much more as a listener during that time, and started to make the occasional electro or trance mashup as well.
Mid-2007, the name got updated to EnStorm as I started making some original music as well as mashups until 2010.
After that, I had a bit of a break when university was getting serious, and eventually came back to the music in 2013 once that was done and I had the job to buy my first set of DJ decks. That became a hobby over time, but as we ticked over to 2016, I’ve decided it’s time to really get back into it.
One name change later, Socion was born, with a new passion, sky is the limit!
