It all started with Smack Productions during the golden era for house music, the 80's. One of the originators of the New Jersey House sound, Smack Productions has remained true to the sound that we've became know for. This sound later progressed to what became known as Garage house music. Over the years some of the players have changed but the basic philosophy has remained the same.... take a great voice, put it on a great song, over a hot track.
