Lil Evil grew up going back and forth between Salinas, CA and Sacramento, CA two cities where gang life was a growing epidemic amongst urban youth. Evil became involved in gang life at an early age. Around the same time he learned to rap. Lil Evil didn't take music very seriously in the beginning. He spent his teenage years developing his criminal reputation around his neighborhood. Street life takes a toll on Lil Evil when his reckless actions and prominent gang activity left him with nothing but criminal charges and time to reconsider the direction his life was taking.
