Skeletal Family sprung from Keighley, West Yorkshire in the early 1980's.
Anneka Faye (formerly of band Exoterik) is the bands current vocalist.

In April 2022 work was completed on seventeen brand new tracks at Paul Weller's Back Barn Studio, Ripley.

The sixth Skeletal Family album is scheduled for release Summer 2022..
