Jacobi Jackson was born in Dallas, Texas, where he spent most of his childhood before moving to Terrell, Texas. There he attended high school until graduating in 2004. Jacobi went on to get an associate’s Degree at Howard College in 2007, then he went on to Texas A&M University-Commerce were he received a basketball Scholarship. Jacobi knew he wanted to be involved in the music scene, so he started hanging around with the artists and producers on campus, picking up some mixing and producing skills in the process. He went on to finish at A&M in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. Wanting to further his music career, Jacobi decided to study Audio Engineering, Producing, Live Sound, Mixing, Mastering, Songwriting and the Business of Music at Media Technical Institute in Dallas.
