Shortwave aka Jak Wellard & Ben Humphrey are a diverse house duo from Kent. Jak (19) & Ben (22) both have musical influences from across the board, armed with a musical library that knows no boundaries, the pair technically explore the house music platform through their style of mixing and their seamless track selection.

Having supported artists such as Jay Lumen, Ben Pearce, Martin Ikin, Hoxton Whores, Blonde, Disciples, Kry Wolf, Shadow Child, Huxley, Ame, Simian Mobile Disco, B Traits, Ill Phil, Friend Within, Route 94, Waze & Odessy, Kelly Okereke and Nick Bright – the pair are far from short of experience when it comes to supporting roles.

Their production CV, in comparison with their time in the industry is an exciting one. The two have had their tracks supported by the likes of Hannah Wants, Friend Within, Flashmob and Cristoph; along with countless radio plays both locally and nationally.
