Shizo van de Sunflower aka Daniel Blum began his musical experiences in the 80s with C64 and tracker software. As DeForm2, together with Sven Kessler, he had his first successes in the techno and acid sector in the 90s. He joined City of Drums in 2006 as an artist from the very beginning.
His love of electronic music did not allow him to focus on just one style. Initially he performed at private parties, later he organized parties and played in Thuringia as well as in Dresden and Munich. At numerous remix competitions, he was able to gain experience in other styles, including darkwave, rock, pop, jazz, industrial and ambient. This is also reflected in his current style and benefits his work as a DJ and media producer.
