Shiva Sound System are a group of house music enthusiasts formed in 1991 in Chico, California. Their birth began when the club they were the resident Djs at closed, leaving them looking for a new creative outlet. Luckily the Bay Area was an epicenter of the new “rave” scene. With renewed purpose the lads and their friends began to build a new culture & community based on a shared love of music and dance. Now some 30 years on they regroup to once again share the passion they still have for music and the hope of a brighter future somewhere past these dark times. Join us in celebration and appreciation as we venture again into the musical future.
