Brighton, United Kingdom
Shedman is the alter ego of English writer and poet John Davies. Since his first appearance at the Booth Museum of Natural History in Brighton in 2002, Shedman has engaged, intrigued and entertained young and old alike in the UK and Europe. His approach has been emulated in many different ways but John remains the original poet in a shed.
John’s poems have been published in the pamphlet, The Nutter in the Shrubbery, in a full collection Shedman, and in the anthology Our Storeys – Art and Poetry in Healthcare (all from Pighog). The pamphlet Glove Poems was published in May 2016 by Editions Fuscus and Jizz: New & Selected Poems will be published by Kingston University Press in the UK in February 2018 and (as Nest) by Red Hen Press in the USA.
You can find out more and contact John via his website www.shedman.net, via Twitter @Shedman or as Shedman on Facebook.
